OK chaps trust me to find another odd one....
I have an oil pump 034 115 109
Can you tell me what it is off, it is not found in ETKA????Comment

Well, if it was a 034115105 (5 at the end, not 9), it would make sense as an oil pump for a 5 cylinder WB, WC,WE, WH or S713 (circa 1982). This was superceded to 105A on April 30, 1985 which, in turn, was superceded to 105B in Aug 1, 2002. 105B is the current listing (?).
But that is all for "105" not "109".

All sorted, done some enquiries and it is a casting number rather than a part number. And I can get a replacement idler for it so all sorted.
Many ThanksComment

Casting numbers versus PN often comes up when somebody is trying to determine whether the exhaust manifold they have is an RS2 EM or not.
(of course, it is possible to look at them an eliminate them as the OE EM, however, this does not deal with the Indian/Chinese clones).RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan
