    WTB: 17" A8 sport alloys

I think I might be interested in fitting Audi A8 'sport' 17 inch alloys to the A6(c4) .

    will they fit ok?

I Don't know if there are any variations in size and width of this style wheel, & I don't know there proper name but they look like this:

they are 18" and you will probably require spacing for them

ok..anyone got experience in fitting them to A6 c4 quattro?

I presume the offset is wrong and they sit too far in and foul something?

Anyone know exactly what I'd need to fit them? with out scrubbing anything?

        cheers..

If you use this as a starting point you'll get your spacer size pretty good

The 16" avus alloys are 7.5" wide with et37 and they fit the car in question.
The 18" alloys above are 8" wide with et48

So your spacer should be somewhere in the region of

          ((8-7.5)*25.4) + (48-37))

          =12+11 = 23mm

Somewhere in the order of 15mm / 20mm / 25mm will get you sorted.

Are you sure these wheels will fit on a non S6 C4?

I ask as I've just bought a set of 8x17 S6 Avus wheels that are ET35 and they're not going to fit under the arches on my C4 2.5 TDi.

              Cheers

My S6+ 17x8's ET35 fit perfectly and fill the arches a treat on my 100 C4 Avant, without spacers.

Tried my 17x8 ET35 S6 wheels on the front of the A6 today and it looks like they do actually fit. I had been told they would catch on the wheel arches. No chance at standard ride height and probably not much chance when it gets lowered soon.

this is good to see thanks.

Anyone else have access to a C4 and/or other alloys for test fitting?
