Thanks for the link but slicks are no good I need them to use on the road to travel to and from any track days and some track day organisers don't let people use slicks...

Second lot are just road tyres, they'd last 5 mins on a track with an S2 attached...

Another option is to get something that'll match my P-zero Corsas, something with a fairly hard compound like a V70 Kumho or Pilot Sport Cup.

Andy your car would look mental on slicks, don't know if your drive terrain would like your launches though with all that grip, although its prob not to happy at the moment anyway

3b clutch and a strung-out stock turbo are enough to annoy it for sure Slicks would be fun but they're just not practical

Buy another set of wheels and run slicks and inters, S2 is too hard on tyres and you will spend a fortune fitting proper legal tread that simply won't last a few hard sessions on a circuit.

The issue with slicks is that track organizers would rather you didn't run them without a cage, no other reason really.

The Kumho's are good although a friend of mine has them on his big power Escort Cosworth and they were horrendous in the wet at Bedford last week.

I'd probably try a set of Kumhos and get yourself some inters for when it rains and you will run circles round anyone thats turned up on road tyres, no matter what they are.

Kumhos it is then, best all rounder by a mile, you could atleast buy another set of wheels and have the Kumhos fitted to those so you can drive to the track and back on them then return back to your road wheels rather than limti the life of the Kumhos on the road.

Dunlop do a great semi slick, but its pricey.

yup, come in two or three compounds from memory, think Camskill stock them new or maybe wait a few weeks until the season starts again and the part worns should start appearing again. My V70a's were from a bmw one make series and been excellent value, though i noticed one wasnt looking so ho after Combe in Oct

Seen those for a while, they are very cheap but I have read that they wear rather badly. Will have to wait for more information on them really...

I got 4 complete sets of slicks and a set of inters for less than what your spend on a set of road legal tyres.

I'd be happy to let you have a lap on a set if your ever out when i am but there on 18"

I'm sure they're great but they're nopt road legal, so it's a moot point I will just be leaving the tyres on the car over the summer, hence needing something road legal. Canging wheels every 5 mins would be the death of me at the moment.
