Wanted: new RS2 pistons with rings and pins

    Hi all,

Since the very slowly growing low rpm knock seems to be almost certainly a bad wristpin, I'm looking for a new set of pistons (with pins and rings ofcourse!) for my RS2. I want to keep it stock CR, and they should be the original 81mm. No oversize since the bores were still perfect.

I'm afraid OEM is the only way with stock CR? (and bore)

If anyone knows a good adress or alternative, please let know, would need them quite fast

    thanks!

          I don't know anymore? I hear and read 9.0, 9.1 or 9.3 ??

And also that ADU and ABY wouldn't be the same after all....?

These original Mahle ones from germany are 140€/piece, seems like a good deal?

the aftermarket ones will all probably be lower in cr as they made for the tuning market.

Just to clarify, the ADU pistons are 81.00 mm diameter and 9.3:1 compression ratio. The PN 034107065M crosses to the 3B, AAN and ABY 20Vt engines.

The original ones from Mahle appear to be out of stock, and will only be produced again in May

So if anyone has a really good condition set of pistons with pins laying around, please do let me know since I don't want to wait 2 more months...

                  thanks!

I have a pistonpen that is knocking.

And my bores are still perfect, near new... so not that happy to start enlarging the bore. I have maximum 81.04mm where 81.01 is new. Stock size is perfect then.
