I'm confused by your request. RS2 grilles are held in place by grille clips only, they don't use any screws. S2 grilles on the other hand are held in place with head bolts, screws and tabs. Are you talking about MonsterEddie's RS2clips? You mentioned a torx screw in a recent post which makes me think you are.

On my car the four upper OEM RS2 grill clips are each held in place by a torx head screw.
These screw through the grill clip and out the other side.

The lower grill clips are only held in place by their own grip/teeth.

I've bought a full set of new grill clips from Audi Tradition for spares so as to replace as needed the weak clips on my car. The lower clips grip tight on friction fit alone, which explains why there are no additional screws. However the upper clips, new and old do not hold in place firmly with out an additional screw.

As I've lost one of the upper screws, I was hoping to find a matching replacement...

I've had (and sold) a full set of Eddie's clips. They are over engineered for my liking.
They used allen head countersunk screws.

When I ordered a full set of clips from Audi before they were NLA they weren't supplied with any additional screws.
They fitted well (both top and bottom) without them. One of my upper clips has since lost some of its grip over time. I remedied this by using a cable tie to improve the clips compression. Perhaps you could do the same as a temporary measure if nothing else?

Did any of the clips supplied by Audi Tradition come with screws? Can you post picture of an upper clip with a screw please? I'd like to see what they look like.

There are screws that go through the clips, but not absolutley necessary.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that until now.
All we need is to find the spec of this screw and a supplier to solve this.

The clips are essentially just speed fasteners. I just used black pan head self rappers available from a variety of auto places. However, if you really want torx ones, goto Audi and ask for an S3 dashboard screw, they will do the job

@madpugger are these the torx head panel screws that fix the aperture for the stereo to the dash?

Been a while since I had the dash in bits, but I think so yes, there are two types in the S3, one has a large washer as part of it.

Actually, scrap that, I think they are machine screws, M4 or M5, something like that. The RS2 grille clips are speed fasteners, so just need a short self tapper.

Such as This Although I am not sure if it was 6 or 8 so THIS may be better

THIS is more like the OE but you would need to cut down the 4.2x16 as they need to be around 10mm in length... I would suspect the OE ones also have no 'point' to them, with a much more rounded tip...

                  Hope that helps
