B4 Limo rear seats in leather

I've been looking for a saloon rear leather seat for years. I've bought an avant interior now and I hope to get a saloon seat reupholsted using the leather from that, I can't really see any other option as saloon leather inteiors are so rare.

I have a B4 (was told out of an 80 Quattro V6) saloon interior in the 90QS. The rears are just loose, held in with the seatbelts at the moment. I have not tried to butcher them.
I want a B3 rear bench and then someone can have the B4 rear.

Given the apparent rarity of B4 saloon rear black leather seats, I think the more immediate cure is to have the cloth rear seats reupholstered in black leather by MJ Interiors or Snappy Gaitors.

I don't fancy my chances of finding some B3 leather seats either. I have seen more 90s with leather interiors than I have B4 saloons though. It's a useful offer though if someone is in a position to take you up on it.

That is basically my idea, I just hoped that the leather from the avant seats could be used as it will be the correct type and colour. I've yet to see whether this is possible though.

Avant rears can be made to fit.

avant to saloon is deffo a no go for the backrests (10 cm to short) and the side foams (different shape).

avant to coupe is plausible, but not the side foams.

can you modify the brackets of the backrests?

it is not a problem of brackets, but the length of the backrest, they are shorter because the avant`s rear shelf it lower than the limo shelf.

I've been meaning to send you an PM. I've got the rear seat bottom and the two side foam parts for the upper. I can just pull the leather off the bottom and toss it in a box to you. If you're interested let me know.
