WANTED: Anyone got an 80 Avant tailgate / loom?

Hi guys, need to fix the wiring for my TDi mot and the wiring is gubbed on the tailgate (must have had a new one at some point and its wiring is a mess!)

Was about to start stripping and repairing, but if anyone has the wiring loom for the tailgate, it could save me a few angry words!!

    Many thanks

    AL

I think I need one of these too, Does it unplug? Mines all taped up and horrid looking on the left hand (passenger) side!

          Skull,

are they available for Cabrio boot looms also ?

Do you have a link for either ?

          Thanks either way.

          Kind regards.

              probably this kind of thing

bit pricey if you ask me if the 80 ones are similar cost.

i have repaired a couple of a6s by pulling the trim off the c-pillar area and cutting and splicing new cables right back to the wiper motor etc etc.Seen a few cars where the repairs have been done at the break area and its never pretty

i would have thought any secondhand looms will be either already in a bad way or wont have much life left in them
