Yeah, I got one and it didn't work properly, hence looking for a 4 pin.

Yup, exatly that, contacted the seller who said

They are all like that Andrew there has been a debate on the forum seems they are all the same nothing to worry about

The 3 pin one I got given by error404 works perfectly so I don't know if there is/was a bad batch.

IIRC the Behr ones are supposed to be the better of the newer 4pin ones.

I got 2 from 034, they were Meyle parts and they both over-read by a lot. Might not be a problem for some but I can't see the point of having a guage if you can't trust what it reads

On my car I ended up re-fitting the old, original, VDO sensor and my brother is still looking for a working used one. I'm sure he has a similar thread running!

Hmm, will check the brand of my duff one if I can find it. I bought it from Pete Reve/Quattro Corner.

Give ECP a ring andy, they had the behr ones in the genuine VAG packaging for half the price of TPS
