The best one going recently was Bibby's old green Avant for the money and bhp it was a steal, was in the classified.

And my old Ruby red one!
Id be buying it back if I had the cash

As for mileage, forget that, its not that important on an S2 as long as its been looked after properly.
Rust wise, they all go in the same places, front wing bolt to the bumper and under the rear wiper

Low mileage is overrated. My 96k avant is far worse condition than my 150k coupe.

ne used everyday i would see as a distinct bonus in all honesty...these cars hate to be stood for extended periods, at least in my own experience, when they are used daily they don't leak, run better and perform reliably...match it to a decent shell, evidence of pampering and the mileage aspect can be largely ignored.

I would argue that there's probably a good few filling that brief....if you want turn-key motoring, this is the wrong car, its old and it will need time and attention
