WTB - Black sunvisors, grab handles, & sunroof control panel

Similar to AudiCoupeParts' WTB post earlier today.

I'm looking for the same items myself also, if anyone can help either of us.

S2 Avant black sunvisors, reading light / handles, and a sunroof control panel.

Anyone with extra set or two of these for sale, please let us know.

Ones from a B4 Coupe or urS4/6 might suit me ?

    Thanks very much.

    black parts

    Hi David.

Check my post. A kind member put some ebay links on my post for black parts from an RS2.

The parts would be most helpful for you since you have an Avant.

Many parts will not work on my S2 Coupe.

      AudiCoupeParts,

      Thanks, I saw that.

      Thank you also Cesar S2.

In relation to the internal door handles triggers, all you need to do is get four spare ones from any regular B4 cars in the breakers.

Take apart the two in the worse condition, i.e. pitting from car keys in peoples hands over the years. Then practice putting them back together, until you are proficient at putting them back together. They're fiddly to do, but get easier as you practice. You'll need a very small fine flat head screwdriver to "walk out" the black plastic pin, that holds the spring in place.
Easier to see when you have one in your hand.

Then take the two best, ( sixteen if you have four cars ) and get them powder-coated in black gloss.

When you put them back together without scratching them, in my opinion, they are better, (richer in colour and appearance), than RS2 ones which seem a little more "transparent" compared to powder-coated ones. My powder-coated ones are even slightly better than the original oem ones in the factory black chrome urS6 I have.

People should really try this mod, it's cheap, looks great, and you see the triggers and touch them every time you're in the car.

Am going to spray suitable "plastic" paint, ( same as used on soft rear spoilers and plastic front bumpers, mirror backs etc. ), on the Avant's B, C, and D pillars, and then after the roof furniture are either bought or sprayed also, I just need to work out how to cover my oem grey headlining in black alcantara, or dye it black, but I think the recovering option might be the way forward.

      HTH.

      Kind regards.
