I'd get a new one ASAP, they do completly fail, then it will chew the belt up as well.

TPS would be my first choice, their who I'd use at work. Don't GSF or ECP list one?

Hmm, ECP don't list the correct one, can't be bothered to register for GSF but this 'may' be worth a try, looks like a Febi one which are OE quaility.

EDIT----- Just noticed the delivery may take a while, might be worth emailing the seller to see if they can get it out quicker for an extra couple of quid.

actually forgot about gsf, just registerd and they look like they have the right part but theyre closed tmrw so i could order it.

the ebay one looks like the actual tensioner thats bolted to the block.

the bit thats fooked on min is the wheel that goes into that part on a 90deg arm

so its just the wheel and its bearing thats gone

good to see that part off the block tho!!!!!

Dingbro in Glasgow stock them £45 including vat

It will be the tensioner on the back of the block if you take a look you will see the bearing in the tensioner will have collapsed and the arm will be sitting at a angle and is hitting the block

                      cheers Raj

hey Raj, hows it going? i think its actuallt he wheel, ill have to have a crawl under her, but even fro the pick, the arm look straight, withthe 90deg bend still being parralel to the belt, with the wheel looking all off to the side!. so i think im only needing the wheel. Do you know if they stock the wheel?

hey couchie, that listing on the bay says its IS suitable for the b4 tdis, but ive been told that the plastic one isnt. Can anyone confirm if the plastic one is a replacement for the metal one?

If so, ecp appear to stock the plastic one - although they list it as not suitable?

                              Many thanks guys
