Hello,

Got me a pair of old recaro seats which have to be restored.




a hinge of passenger seat is welded by one of previous owners so that it is not possible to adjust or lift the backrest of the seat. looks like in pictures below. This means I have to find a good one.





maybe someone here has laying around a spare-part or a donor seat from mid eighties or give a hint where to find a good replacement hinge..

go on english ebay, always bits for them, you can pick up a pair of escort rs turbo recaro's for around £40

googled a little on this and found that similar seats were fitted on Opel Manta B GTE.. have to try that lead aswell..
