typical car decides to stop running when its due to be driven for a re-spray, found g40 hall sender to be the fault, already stripped and found to be broken. Does anyone have a spare one? Cheers

Broken behind the exhaust cam wheel or broke at the plug? If it is at the plug, you could temporarily bodge something together to get to the respray. If behind the exhaust cam and somebody had a spare BB AutoMacao sender to lend you, then you could use this procedure to install it:

Sender is the same for ABY, AAN, or ADU.

Hmm...BB Automacao used to sell individual pieces for US$10 plus $9.95 shipping. Then the minimum was 10 pieces plus shipping. Now I see the minimum is 100 pieces (US$6.90/piece). Maybe somebody here should organize another Group Buy.

Yes a group buys probably a good idea, I need one asap though and as won't be able to get one from dealers till next weekend, this is my best bet, unless anyone knows any online?

I've been wanting to do another buy of 10 from bbautomacao since the early summer but they said they were out of stock and would email me when they had more in. I wonder if they really do have any at all and are waiting for someone to order at least 100 before they place their order with their supplier.

I'll email the lady there again.

Could be. Last time I checked (maybe two weeks ago) the website said out of stock (but you could buy only 10 if they had stock). SO I was surprised to see that they would only sell in lots of 100 - but they seemed to "have" some (within a week of ordering that is). They come out of China so I wouldn't be surprized that there is some issue. I have only dealt with a fellow named Luciano, never a lady.

Luciano got back to me to say that they are no longer selling these in retail mode and will only sell them in batches of 100.

Given how long it took to sell my last batch of 10 I don't think that it's viable to do a Group Buy as the demand for 100 just isn't there.

Or is it??? I'm happy to be proved wrong and buy 100 if there's the demand.

Otherwise it's back to the Dealer at £150 a time

All is not lost. Rumour has it that Marc S. at EFI Express will be buying a batch of 100 and reselling (at a profit). (Price not established as yet).

In the NAmerican UrS-car community, there have been at least 2 group buys with well over 150 pieces per GB so we know the demand is there (and will be). (I have a personal stash of several )

not really looking to make a profit. I've Had a few customers ask me, previously I'd been sending them to the source but as you know, they don't sell "onsies" anymore.

Price will be most likely $10 plus shipping.
