Another thing in certain v6 saloons (2.8's) have these but just bolt on one's so easy to remove from them if you find one being broken.

thanks for info and part numbers guys, I have a strut brace coming from the S2 Avant Andy is breaking, along with the indicator wiring

My car has the bolt on strut brace, I think they were only fitted to MY92 V6 80s. It looks quite ineffective to me as it is only held in place on 4 M6 studs. One day I will replace mine with the weld on type.
