Fuel Pump Fitting - part wanted

Just piecing together parts and wanted to know what size the S2 fuel pipe union inside the tank is - the one that connects to the short piece of hose, which in turn is connected to the ABY pump. Looks like a taper fitting? Want to get a banjo fitting to convert to RS2 M12 banjo fitting.

cheers for the link to that thread

It's one of those things that's a little harder to explain without pictures I was after the thread on the banjo in this picture - the pump end is M12x1.5 and I have the nut for the top too

The Audi banjo is still available but it's about 3x the price of an off the shelf item... just seeing if there's an alternative before I fork out the best part of ÂŁ40.

Just use one of these with a hose clip, you get the bolt with it but you don't need that.

              Had forgotten about Speedflow

If I can get hold of a banjo fitting or old piece of fuel line, then I'll take it down there but don't have anything off the car that I can take just at the mo; hence asking if anyone knew the size from past experience.

If anyone wants to donate the short piece of line that they've ditched when fitting an 044 pump, then I'll take that with me

A bay special is also an option, as it's the same as the OE setup (hose clamp) and you can get a 90 deg one to drop the line down from the rather tall RS2 pump.

the 044 is a straight fit into the CQ so I didn't have to buy anything except the dome cap nut.

Problem is i wont be able to check until after xmas
