    Oil Cooler

I need an Oil Cooler for a 2.8 Coupe quattro ASAP can anyone help ?

Mines been dripping coolant since before xmas so today I decided to have a go at tightening up the jubilee clip securing one of the water pipes !
Result, made it worse and have now lost most if not all my coolant !
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

Pulled the Oil cooler part numbers from my system, two versions so you will need to check chassis number. the BX part number is usually an exchange item, worth asking if it still applies to save a few quid.

        Chassis >> 8B-S-000 544

        068 117 021 B
        068 117 021 BX

        Chassis 8B-S-000 545 >>

        078 117 021 A

The letter in the middle is the model year, yours is an N chassis = 1992, S chassis = 1995 so its going to be the first part number for you.

Just had another look in the parts system the B part number seems to be used upto 2001 in A4 and A6's. And the A part number upto 2007 in the 1.8t Audi TT's. I wouldn't be surprised if they are interchangeable as they fit a lot of different cars / engines.
