isnt there a hole under the back seet were you can put the battery? thats were my battery is located. we who drive on the "right" side of the road.

I wish, 3b battery is under the bonnet in the UK. ABY has a hole under the rear seats. Lucky you

thoght it was the same chassi, besides the steering wheel.

once simon's got his battery box i'll also be after one if anyones got one spare.

Simon, if you manage to get the box but not the wiring I have 2x battery wiring bits from s2 avants if one of thems use to you.

Just looked at my S2 owners hand book and it shows the left hand drive model and sure enough no battery under the bonnet! I wonder why they did no do this for UK models?

Thanks for the offer but I had some long cable and just bought the under bonnet hook up-point from a BMW E36

I have an ABY battery box and cables for under the rear seat sitting doing nothing. Owes me £120 if you are interested.

Can be sent however you want, can probably get 24hour recorded delivery via APC if you are desperate.
