I have an old 80 quattro diff, external it looks identical to the others i have (with the exception of flanges) Will need to look it up on the family album. Anyway I'm not far from you which may help...

with all these diffs about would anyone be willing to sell me the bellows from the diff locking mechanism

the rubber that covers the rod that connects to the actuator

Dropped on 01/03/2011, without replacement

Don't bother with a new "clamp" (N 102 582 01) from VAG, what they send you is just the smallest 'Jubilee' style clamp they can find.
I still used it on mine, but only because I had to wait so long for it, and paid so much for it.
