Does anyone have an S2 Intercooler for sale?

For an S2 Coupe ABY, got a small hole in mine!

Please provide details and what you'd like for it if you have.

Couldnt the hole be brazed up, or silver soldered or even alu welded up? Must be the cheapest option. I am harassing my boss to get some more plastic in so i can make a few new testing kits for the S2 air system. (similar to Paul N's kit) but i want to make the plugs this time out of one solid bar of polypenco. Will have to blag another garage fore more tyre valves

You could also try having it resin sealed. Serck quoted me approx £50 to seal a split in an RS2 intercooler. However being tight I let a friend try to weld it. Result - one useless intercooler!
I guess any rad specialist might offer this service.

Thanks for the feedback, and thankfully I don't have any friends that go anywhere near welding equipment

Thanks for the tip about the company that fixes them I'll check them out. I remember one feller that owns a shop and is a regular on the forum said he had one for £100, problem is I can't remember who he is or the shop! lol. So if he knows who he is (which I hope he does), hopefully he'll see this post.

Probably cheaper buying a decent condition 2nd hand one than paying post/ package back and forward to a shop miles away to fix the hole..

Could appreciate some advice from the forum on the value of an intercooler with 80k miles done on it?

Ideally I would only like to spend £75 on it and obviously any shipping charges (if you are in Madrid that will probably be a fair bit!)

I optimise websites so if you have one I'll chuck in some free website optimisation lol.

Off on holiday now till next week, so won't be checking the forum before then, but I'm definitely interested!

looks in v.good nick, i'd say anything between £50-125.

Don't forget to factor in postage and most importantly the fee for wire transfer which our German friends appear to like. I think it is in the £15-20 region!
This has put me off buying thing from abroad. That and the language barrier.
Unless it is something you can't possibly get hold of over here I would obtain one from a fellow lister. If nothing else, you know the money is going to a good cause!
On the other hand, if you speak German and have a way to avoid wire transfer charges, I'll get my list!

Ive purchased from Germany before, ive always found the germans very helpful and v good with english as well

if you ask about paypal you will prob find most are willing also.

All the germans i have dealt with have always been very very helpful.
I see no reason to avoid dealing with them
