Just checked and the pipe I have is not in very good condition. It has a rusted hole at one end. Only really ok if you are really stuck. Sorry.

                  at Rusty,

I assume the relatively low cost of a new one from the dealer would make it not worth your while to have a number made up in stainless steel for a group buy ?

                  Just a thought.

Does anyone know how much an oem pipe is from the dealer ?

                  Thanks.

IIRC Andy looked at this in stainless at one point not sure what happened. The tight radius bends will be tough i think.

I bought a new one about 5 years ago. I remember paying somewhere around 25EUR for it.

Thanks 404 and Tom, looks like oem is the best option for another for another 15 odd years. Also not directed at the op, but presumably if all our cars always had G11 / G 12 in them there would be less rusty muck in the cooling system’s pipes and hoses ?

Anyone any experience of a car with a full service history where it always had antifreeze in it ? Are the inside of it’s pipes and hoses in better condition than a car with a more patchy service history ?

                        Any comments.

Apologies to the op for the unintentional thread hijack, hopefully it’s helped you nonetheless, even if a bit indirectly.

Called up the stealer and they quoted about BND$230. long lead item, pressumably from its birth country.

my ABY has on and off G12 in it. so i guess, would be a no problem if the car has good service history.
