    WTB engine block.

I am interested in buying a perfect shape 5cyl turbo engine block.I want to refubish bores(to be shure they are perfectly round)and use aan stock pistons with new rings. So need good bores.

    or

a resonable price set of 5 forged pistons with rings 81.5mm cr above 8:1

    Thank you,

    Don't you want to be more specific, e.g. 10VT MC, 20VT 3B or the AAN/ABY/ADU 20VT triplets?

      I have aan heads.So "triplets" should be fine.Why not 3b?or 10v turbo block?A 10v block should be under 81mm and will bore it to 81 and use aan pistons,rods,crank etc.Will 20v fit 10 block?What about 7a block?

      Thx for help
      Edit:
The engine will be mounted in c4 or b2 chasis. So i should be abble to play with engine mounts on the block if it is not aan/aby/adu

all audi 5 pot will fit... even the dieselverson..( the stronger block) the 2,4 diesel are 79,5, and the 2,5 are 81,00 bore but 236 deck
only minor difff in the outside, and inside... like were the water return from the turbo, and oilsquirters..

7a have the 82,50 diameter bore; but 034motorsport does turboconvert 7a, without big problems.. the syl walls are over 6mm thick ; so rebore a audiblock doesnt weak the syl ..
81mm to fx 83 are only 1mm off the syl wall......

                  Interesting.
But i have 2 aan compleete spare engines with good pistons/worn blocks.I want to use pistons+new rings with some good blocks.
Or find decent price 81.5mm kit of pistons+rings and rebore my blocks
Or wait a fiew weeks to buy a compleete aan s4 for spares with good engine at price of a set of wiseco's
But last option leaves me still with 2 spare engines with worn block. In total will own 4 aans
Crazy junk owner that i am...And i am shure there are lots of more crazy peoples arround...

You must have a good block that is not on one of your running cars

Please put an interior micrometer(ceas comparator) inside upper part of bores and tell me the results.

                            Thank you very much.
