What about 250kpa sensor and software, so you can put it into your current ECU?
    I can offer that.

      @ all:

Normally i'm searching for a complete ECU, because mine is OEM and i don't want to open it.

But when i'll get a good and cheap chipset with map sensor, i'll take it, too.

I prefer a chipset with lower tuning, like MTM or SMS. I think 280 or more bhp isn't good for turbo and engine.

Thanks a lot and best regards.

There is no SMS chip for 3B.
There are also not a lot of MTM chips for 3B that are even remotely public.

And 280 hp is perfectly fine. It's exactly the same engine as AAN.
That turbo can run 1.6 bar peak for years, it's practically impossible to kill it. The engine tolerates 600nm of torque with stock internals.

If you want MTM, go to MTM and buy it from MTM.
Otherwise you will end up someone selling you some random sh*t, which they will say "of course it's MTM", just so you hear what you want to hear, and then you blow the thing up due to bad software (digitec anyone?)

Oh... you are right! There is only an SMS Chipset with 286 bhp for the 3B for a K26 Turbo. That was my fault.

I think that a little bit lower pressure, is a little better. Thats my opinion ;-)
Lower Pressure is longer Life. I own a S2 Avant and i know what i want.

I think, that your chipset will be very fine, but that don't will be mine.

I know, that i'll only get a copy of popular chipsets, but i could see the version, when i wire my laptop to the ecu. VAG.com shows me the Version of the Chipset ;-)

            and something else:

the 3B and some (the first) aan don't have sputter rod bearings ;-)

the torque at 1,6 bar could be to much.

the head gasket is not made of metal. at the 3b there is installed a paper gasket ;-)
i think 1,6 bar will be to much for an old gasket.

What is shown in VAG Com can be edited in 1 minute with a hex editor, that area is not even checksummed.
You can even use notepad to edit it, and everything will work.

I understand you don't want to buy anything from me, and I don't care - but the things you are saying here on the forum and your attitude is everything that is wrong with chiptuning on these cars.

                No, it's not.

It's called "composite gasket", and the gasket will not fail because you run a bit more boost through it. There is so little difference in PCP...

                No it won't.

My chipset on 3B runs 1.3-1.4 though. On AAN I have around 50 cars running 1.6, some of them for a long time, not a single issue - many have 200 000+ km on composite gasket.
