the difference is in how de wires are connected to the switch, in the wire lenght and in the connector itself.

the type you need is determinated by the door panel type you have.

this are the later type



on the older ones, the cloth reaches the top of the door panel...

I know what you mean now, they have different front door trims and handle/switch layout too. AFAIK S2's only ever had the later style as above.
