from memory there was just enough in an order to do both light clusters so may be on a hiding to nothing unfortunately....unless you find someone who bought a box load of the sealant.

You're in luck! I recently bought a box of 4 reels of 2.5m for £35.82 to do both light clusters on my coupe and have used one reel. £8.96 per reel....let me know how much you need.

Is 3M Window Weld available in the UK? I've used this on taillights for years. The same material that Audi used, BTW

I just used a version of tiger seal yesterday, doubt the lights will ever come back off.

Mine was difficult enough to get off with just the sealing cord! I realised that they had been removed to respray the rear end several years ago, so it's more than likely been leaking for 5 years or so

Bloody thing, thank go it's all galvanised or I'd be driving around in a Flinstone's style 1980's capri

It doesn't look like it is. I've checked eBay and it's all located in the US. Postage is more expensive than the product

Does anyone have enough spare for two rear lights in the UK?

Sorry ...... I'm out of the stuff. I used one roll and sold the other 3 to Rusty and another guy. I ordered mine from the local VW garage. Had to wait a few days though.
