Wanted: Audi S2 LHD for export

As the title reads, I'm looking to skip the whole process of modding my current Audi CQ into a S2, and just buy the real deal. Thing is, I want a LHD one. I've driven RHD cars before and have no problem with them, but our governing auto insurance doesnt seem to like them, and take every opportunity to take them off the road.

Anyways, show me what you have. If you have any information on the actual exportation process to get it to Canada, that would be appreciated as I'm still trying to figure that out as well. I've no preference on colour, just looking for a S2 coupe.

ABY would be my preference, colour, no real preference. Stock over modified, but if modified with proper parts and documentation I would consider it as well. Send me pics of your friends car, I'll check it out. bubbagedush@gmail.com

I too am scared about the possible cost of this. I'm trying to get ahold of some importers/exporters to see what is possible. One way or the other I'm determined to have myself a S2!!! Received some good emails so far, keep it up. Having choices is great!!

That's what I like to hear. Rocco, do you know anything about shipping cars out of country?

one thing to look into is i've heard its cheaper to ship the engine out of the car as its not classed as a complete car that way so worth checking that out.

Either that or have the car shipped in a container with other stuff but have the engine on a palled infront of the engine bay?

If doing the conversion correctly those are about 16,000 and 19,000 Canadian dollars. Thats about double my budget. And from above I'm not sure if taking the motor out makes it cheaper, but I'll have to look into it.
