The so-called 'heavy duty' Bosch bpv is still available as a Saab part, I can post the part number later for you. This more of an OEM+ option than an aftermarket option. Technically with our ECUs you should use a bpv else you are dumping metered air to atmosphere. Unless you have deleted your MAF of course and gone VEMS etc.

I don't know that part personally, but if it is all metal then it will be certainly more durable but have higher moving mass therefore potentially slower to react and could require more opening vacuum. Hoppen / mtm fit the 110 as standard with their tuning packages so I dont think you can go wrong with it on the 20vt to be honest. Mine made a big improvement but then the old one was holed so it could hardly fail too. I get zero 'lurch' now on sudden throttle off situations since fitting it. You need to check you have no vacuum leaks too for it to work properly. Does the s2 have a built in digital boost gauge like the European S6s?
no, we have to put it in ourselves, the system was tested recently, the only place where it leaked was the valve i think i'll get both the saab unit, and the forge one and will try both of them. thanks for the valuable information.
