3B clutch pressure plate wanted

as above looking for 3b pressure plate for clutch.have to be new or very little used.
i can't get it anywhere, not avialable from dealers anymore
i'm fitting a ABY engine to my ur and keeping ur gearbox. so i'm using 3b flywheel machined to take aby crank and using ur friction plate. and i come to dead end. first of all you can't buy pressure plate and friction plate separete have to buy a kit. that will cost double as you use only halve of the kit pressure plate from 3B kit and friction plate from UR. i can live with that, but kit for 3B not avialable...
so please help,
or maybe other ideas what i can use for my setup??

it's pi....s me off!! i rang dealer today and i said if i bring my 3b s2 to change the clutch waht you going to do!!!! he had no answer... madness

another thing i'm after is all the plugs/ connections for coil conversion. i know a company in findland ot somwhere there selling them, but is avialable here in uk? anylink or directions? thank you guys for help!!

I have a Sachs pressure plate that was used on my motor for about 1000 miles. You can still see the machining marks on the pressure face. Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Ive just done a 3b into 80 quattro.

Had no problems getting the clutch cover and even got a paddle clutch plate to fit.



I do still have a spare 3B clutch cover,But ill keep it.

The people who supplied the clutch are techniclutch,im sure they can get you a pressure plate no problem. The pressure plate cost me £100 and the paddle friction plate was £270 including delivery.
They are in the UK,the website isnt very good,But I have to say I got good service from them.

BTW I didnt have to machine the fly. You only have to put the spigot bearing in.

Regarding 3b flywheel you have to machine out centre hole to take ABY crank, open it up to around 42mm
I dont know how you fitted yours the hole it's way to small to to go on crank, maybe you use different flywheel or engine

the 3B flywheel should bolt straight on to the ABY crank

If buying from techniclutch be sure to check everything , I had bought one for my S2 and was stated to be "performance" clutch kit and it last 5 miles and started slipping (RS2 setup) I used a company called Kestrel and they did excellent job !

Aby flywheel dual mass 3b single mass it won't fit without machining. hole is to small on 3b flywheel to take ur gearbox. Maybe it fits if you are using 6 speed box.

ahha now it makes sense, its an 016 box right?

For 6 speed gearbox on ur you have to widened the tunnel.
And yes it's a 016 box

As far as I'm aware you don't need to widen the tunnel and white cottage Quattro has done lots of them and Quattro Coachwork has done 4 that I know of .

And mine Is under way as we speak .
