Vaccine assisted brakes are no different to me than the hydraulic. The master cylinder was the same as the hydraulic. Th pedal feel is much improved than the previous hydraulic system and there is no significant benefit for the hydraulic servo other than the left foot braking while boosting.

So using the vaccum servo is a good alternative. I had to use a single vane pump and the lhd hose. I'm sure ill be able to find the part number somewhere, but its not easy to locate and the rhd has a different hose, so jade it wont help your system.

Error...the vacuum servo is not too expensive new.
The tandem pump can be modded to be used without the brake assist.
The only problem is the vacuum piping from engine and the steering rack hose.
Dont know how is it on RHD cars though.
          Goodluck!

Using the alternator driven vacuum pump....you can use left foot braking also.

This is the prt number for he rack to pump hose for a lhd car.

The AD part is on audi tradition and it wont work. Costs 280euro as well.
I have bought a spare for mine from ebay many months ago for about 100euro, as my current hose was a bit noisy

why do you need to change the hose? Does the servo get in the way on the LHD car? Can't see any reason you would need to on a RHD motor

Aparently..is the fact that the vacuum servo has an bigger diameter and it interferes with the oem S2 hose.

I was thinking at a push I could mod a hose if need be I am sure I could shorten it at the pump end without to many problems

The problem is with the right nozzle inside the hose....it was made for that specific hose...maibe...moding the lenght or shape of the hose will have some bad effect regarding vibrating noises.

The lhd hose is having an angle that fouls the servo whereas the one I posted is more horizontal and clears it.
Bending the original could work or could permanently damage the edge.

Whatever you do, don't try to use an aftermarket one as the noise you will get is HUGE!!!

I am running out of options as I need my car running right and can not locate the correct hose so looking at other options

I am pretty sure is about the nozzle located in the middle of the hose. That nozlle has to have the right diameter.
Wy dont you try to mod your existing hose?

Try german sites for s2 braking for parts. Also the alternative is to try other hoses that may also do so long as their connections are more horizontal rather than vertical.

Sebastian had emailed me to say that he would look for re-making the hose from the manufacturer but never came back to me. It might be worth to ask him(audi tradition)

As the RS2 hose has 3 loops vertical and I do not see how I can bend the out of the way without destroying the hose
