Note your comment re originality, but check out late model Cabrios centre console on Pistonheads as the later cars have a lovely Delta radio that lights up very well in red, and has a fairly good sound, unless one is an audiophile.
Cheap, about €50 - €70 on e-bay - regular sellers.
With the later Cabrios the centre consoles has a larger opening to fit the slightly oversized Delta radios.
