i went to look at that one in co .clare needs a bit of work.lots of rust underneath and just above the windscreen.the starter and distributor also need replacing.its been parked up for awhile aswel.does anyone know when it was first for sale in cork and at 4.5k. or any other on this car.also does anyone know how much the vrt would be on it

I think it may have been as much as a year ago first time i saw it on donedeal, that waswhen it was in cork at 4.5k, was a long time ago anyway. As for the VRT, dunno, but knowing the govt id guess about 1500 maybe?

I guess its Vehicle Road Tax, its really expensive if you have rear seats in Republic of Ireland offsets the cheap fuel (well meant to)

Cheap fuel! Where'd you get that idea? Ok i'll give you its a couple of pence cheaper than the UK, but not so much as you'd notice. Compare that to all the other Irish motorin costs (including the illegal VRT) and you'll see ho expensive motoring in Ireland is.
