JE Piston Rings (ASAP)

Right car has had to come apart today due to oil burning,

I think it is the scraper rings that are letting past as my x engine builder had put a masive gap in them when it does not need it,

I am after a set of J33209-02.8DCNF

Can any one help!!!!! Needed asap really

Je piston is big expansion piston and termal expansion is of piston is 0.08-0.1mm belong on using condision. So ring gaps are big too.
Je pistons 2618 not for dayli use, woessner supertech and other piston made from 4032 alloy is low expansion and can be used for dayli car.

I've heard different story about these pistons. JE are directly designed for 5cyl applicaton. Other producers use 1.8T design, which is not suitable for.
As well as the fabriaction is not good as JE?

Could anybody tell me, where the true is?

This is talk not about quality just JE designed more for race car or weekend, not dayli to work driving car.

Contact performance unlimited in yorkshire area. They carry good stock for je stuff. Even if no je in stock same rings as cp. They need dia and ring thicknesses to match em up.

she is running big boost, over 2 bar, strange tho you saying about size ect i dont suffer from piston slap, just smoke lol

Just a quick heads up.

Measured the ring gaps and email je and thay have said they are spot on for how much boost i am running.

found the problem tho why my car is smoking. 20 extremely worn valve gides. all replaced now. hope to have the head back on tomorrow.
