340 km/h speedo

[aRtiS]

Dear friends.

My Audi RS2 renewing project is near from finish.

Considering technical parameters expected I’m interested in Speedometer and Tacho like attached in the picture

PK-Motrosport doesn't respond yet.

Please advise. Possibilities, installation details and price.

Even if You put to 400km/h and 10 k rpm - arrow's can not move further down then 7800 rpm and 285km/h.

[aRtiS]

I’ve seen on videos RS2 reach 300 km/h and even more

It’s not planned to change only dials, but whole instruments in order they show real figures.

And PK Motorsport instruments work like this?

Am I right?

[Rocco]

Pk-motorsport sells them

[aRtiS]

Maybe I’m impatient, cannot wait an answer from them couple of days

[Rocco]

Oki, thanks good, but if original sensors doesn’t allow exceed 7800 rpm and 285km/h., only new dials will not help.
Impressive look and that’s it

The Coupe Quattro with NM engine,,,, the 7A engine in that body too - them instrument cluster is up to 285km/h...
If the RS2 one is up more - I dont know. But eve that's true - will be very very hard to find/buy one.....

[Nuno Cristiano]

It´s possible calibrate speed to work perfect. I calibrate my tacho via GPS and i have error of 2 km/h Is necessary change some electronic components.

Can you tell us more about this Nuno? Maybe in a new thread? I am very interested

+1 me too.
The problem is not how accurate will be this.
The problem is that - at the lower end of the arrow is rolled wire - like electric worms. It stands in a sort of channel. This channel is crescent-shaped or "half-moon" - is something like an electromagnet. He spins the arrow left and right. Because of the shape of the channel, the arrow can not describe 360 degrees.
