You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

Firtst time in 7 years I sorned it and let it sit for six for 5 weeks and the sodding alternator bust!!!!
It sounded wrong as soon as i started it, I could hear a humming with vibration on it. after a minute or two it had warmed up the alternator to the point it was too hot to put a hand on. Doed this sound like regulator to anyone then?
Has anyone managed to get in touch with Pete? I spoke to him but have not heard from him for days now. Does anyone have an alternator about? Cheers, Bernie
