Can't you just use one off a 7a engine

No, it's a totally different design - AAN, ADU & ABY are integral to the fuel rail, 7A & 3B are separate.

I thought the RS2 3.8Bar Fuel Pressure regulator was a bolt on like the 3B and 7A.

Thats why you shouldn't rely on parts illustrations!
The RS2 uses the same fuel rail as the ABY so has an integral fpr like the ABY. Why its 3.8bar on the RS2 only Porsche knows although it looks like they use their parts bin for it!

Okay. Not like Audi didn't have an ABY diagram to use for the RS2.

Made me check my resources. Found a (bad) photo of an RS2 ADU from above. Shows the FPR on the fuel rail like and AAN or ABY. My bad.

I will correct my FPR post.

Until I can get access to the only RS2 in British Columbia (one of 5 or 6 in Canada), I corrected my FPR post with a couple of photos that I had squirrelled away.

From the RS2 brochure (you can just see the FPR on the left end of the fuel rail)

And this one (actually an RS2'd S2 ABY but it shows better):

Can you confirm the actual Bosch P/N. That might help the OP locate one.

Be careful of that Bosch number. Found this on a search:

                              http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BOSCH-cont...p2047675.l2557

                              Photo is hopefully wrong.
