Alex, when you do get this, can you have a look at the breather and post a few pictures up please. I'm interested in adding a 19mm breather to mine in a similar to stock position but with a better designed pipe on the inside and would like to see some pictures first.

Rich - I would swap but I still need my 7A one for the time being as I'm trying to build up my engine and do the swap in one hit so not too much downtime on the car.

Which hose? The breather connection to the inlet? That's easily removed

If they're identical and you don't want the AAN one, then I may be interested for some investigations into it a new head breather setup.

Yes the outlet of the breather pipe that runs through the cover - the ABY/ADU one is shaped differently to avoid the intake pipe.
how do you remove that mate? Just pull it out? I didn't want to damage it as I guessed it was pressed in

Yeah, the ABY one just pulls out so see no reason why the AAN one doesn't... (famous last words)

And it is not just the difference between the angle of the ABY PCV system exit tube, it is the other little multi-angle tube and rubber connector that is involved with the ABY. AAN is much more straight forward (pun intended):
