Late V6 / cabrio front driveshafts

I'm after some late V6 or cabrio driveshafts, fitted with the tripoid inner CV joints like these:

I've a v6 that I ll break if doesn't sell this weekend

1996 onwards I think Dave. I don't have a date, they just seem to have started using the tripoid inner joints at some point. Earliest car I have seen with them on is 1996

What are the advantages in using these...except weight...as the old ball type ones are sooooooo reliable. Are these indeed tripoid? Never opened one though!

I had to use a pair of these with a tdi box. Don't recall them fitting a s2 box.
