    RS2+ chips

    Hi!
Some time ago I send like gift to one friend my Paul's RS2 repro chips; because The Crazy Doc (Dimitri) made me a remap.

But... I'm unhappy with it and I want a new one; because the car have TOOO MUCH LAG.
He made me a "stechiometric" remap (no leak, no rich) and the car pull over 4.500rpm or more. And when I put a higher gear, the turbo don't generate any press for 3 seconds or more and the speed goes down.
I tried with hardest WG Spring and a BostValve to cut the peaks; but... it's no a good solution.

    I need a remap for:

    - 034MS white replicas
    - ABY fpr
    - ABY cams
    - ADU IC
    - plazacomplex ADU replica IC
    - Bosch 044 pump
    - Supersprint DP with 200 cat
    - OEM Exhausts
    - K24 7200 #8 ADU Turbo
    - 400KPA MAP
    - ABY MAF

    Thanks a lot guys

Interesting, never knew you weren't happy with it.
Your car also did not exhibit any issues three years ago, I still have the logs and full boost was available at 3600-3800 rpm in higher gears, without any issues or boost oscillation in 5th gear on the motorway.

11.7 AFR on WOT, still have the log.

      Hi Doc!

I remember that the proves we made only in 3rd gear ad on 4th the lag comes...
Remenber you were because this lag. Remember that you culdn't understand why.

I tolk with Rocco and Jorge and they said me that they tolk with you and isn't any solution for that.

Maybe they never not talk with you...

        Never heard anything until now.
As to lag, I inquired and from what I have been told you have removed the N75, fitted a hard spring, proceeded to wind it all the way up and then engine damage was the result.

You also say your K24-7200 has a #8 hotside. That would certainly explain the lag, as this is much bigger than standard.

The standar is a #6 and yesss, I say when we remap that I've got this turbo.

          PS: I don't remove the N75 and now I put a 200cell cata.

With #8, 4200-4500 spoolup is perfectly normal. It's exactly how a K24-7200 or K26/K27 spools with that hotside.

OK but I don't want wait 3 seconds seeing go under the speed after one gear incrementation.

              Any solution?

PS: Paul's remap have a overboost function when I push the gas initially. A N75 ratio incremetation for a better charge of the turbo.

Excuse for my poor english Doc.

I am not exactly sure what you mean. If you mean that there is no boost for some time when you change gear, then it means that your wastegate or dump valve sticking, a hall sender window issue or a similar hardware problem. Certainly nothing to do with software.

No, it does not. Until target boost is close to be reached, N75 duty cycle is always 98%.
Your problem has nothing to do with software.

                    There's no #8 hotside for the RS2 turbo. Perhaps it is a K26 with a RS2 coldside.

Yep, that's what I think as well, and from my experience these spool really late.

That means something snapped after the tuning session...probably because the stress

Is normal, our engines are lazy and during a tuning session they does hard work like for the next future 6 months
                          .

If the car was perfectly fine before and no later.... Is white and in a bottle = milk !

Afaik, the softwares doesn't change with the kms done...as the mechanical parts

                          Good luck!

The bad thing is, I find out about this 3 years later by being bad mouthed on the forum.
I'll visit Spain later in the year, so maybe we can look your car over. But your problem is 100% not caused by software.
