RS2 Gearbox in UK

[UKT]

Anyone out there know of a used or exchange gearbox for my '94 RS2 Avant [CRB type ?]. I believe it to be interchangeable with the mid '94 S2 01E CGR ?

Good price paid, cash waiting to get my car back up and running.

Can I ask you what you're doing with your old gearbox ?

Can I ask you what you're doing with your old gearbox ?

That depends on whether :-

1] I can have it rebuilt at a reasonable cost. Been Quoted: £1600+ for parts only so far. This is too much.

2] I can find a good condition box to buy otright at reasonable money.

3] If I need to submit it as a core on a service exchange...It's already dismantled.

Why ?
