Diff Lock Switch

Hi

Anyone have a Diff Lock Switch for RS2/S2 avant (the one behind the handbrake) on mine the lights are not working although the switch is OK, bulbs seem to be soldered in, any help appreciated.

The bulbs are simple to change if you have a small soldering iron and the are only a few pence in maplin to buy. The maplin codes are on another thread on the forum here.

Have you a larger older diff lock switch or a newer smaller one?

My RS2 is "M" Reg but I haven't a clue if that makes it old or new
I will post a photo if it helps, I will search and see if I can find the maplin codes.

Maplin code for diff lock bulbs is BT 43 W - 12v £1.29 or you can use PG 77 J 12v £0.99

You are the new smaller switch I would say.

That's the newer small one. It just levers out with the blade of a knife under the front and rear edge. CAREFULLY!

Maplin bulbs arrived yesterday, took the diff lock switch out today, easy job to remove the old ones and re-solder the new one's in, no more need for another switch, thanks to all who helped.
