    RS2 fog/vents

Can someone direct me to a place to buy the aftermarket vents that fit in the fog light spot on the RS2 bumper? Thanks,

You can get them for about half the price from from here

Be aware though that the lights that come with these Porsche kits are *****, about 8 watts, they are just 'marker' lights and not fogs.

          Elijah,
Contact Alex @ Europrice (his e-mail address is somehere here ). He can get you the Narva porsche fog/ducts which are 35watt H3s instead of the crappy 5/8watt positioning lights Mark mentioned. You can tell Alex that I sent you...last I heard, he can get them for ~$225. Good luck!

            Joe,
Hey, thanks. I emailed Alex today and he said he could get them. Now I can't decide if I even care about the light or not. I would almost be more interested in a set that didn't have a light and just a larger hole for air. Any idea where I could find a set of these? I will ask Alex to see if he can get them.

No problem...here is the only source I know of for the duct-only replacement, although a bit spendy if you ask me! http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...943641448&rd=1
A bit spend for what you are getting is what I really mean. If they were carbon fiber, it would be a different story! ;-)

The 3 different types of vents I have had, all have a 50mm duct. One problem is there isn't anywhere for the ducting to go behind the vents on the S2.

                  Doug,
I was about to mention that each duct and duct/fog combo has the same diameter opening. If you do things right, you can have cooling to items like a powersteering cooler an engine oil cooler. I am currently adding a power steering cooler right behind the drivers side fog...I just don't have the ducts yet.
Most already know, porsches use this to vent the front rotors...I am going to put ducts down in the corners of the smaller grilles for that...it should yield about +4psi worth of air at 100km/h, which isn't great, but obviously better than 0 psi.

Hmmm, I guess that defeats the purpose of skipping the lights for more air. Seems like someone would have made them with as large of duct as they could fit. Oh well, I guess I can just take them out if I decide its important enough.
