VAGparts.com should be able to get you that...ABY linkage should be ~$200 or so.

      Joe,
Do you have any experiance with this? I have a DSY tranny from a 02 S4 that I had mounted in my 94 S4 and am now mounting in the coupe S2. As far as I know I need the shifter linkage, tail housing, S2 mounting brackets, and a 4000 rear driveshaft and it should be almost bolt in. Does this sound right? Thanks,

        Elijah,
unfortunately, I don't have any first hand experience with this. I have been researching it but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. All your info sounds correct, you might need to add S2 front halfshafts, and inner CVs to your list. Also, double check your final drive ratio on the tranny and rear diff. Since you have a coupe, you should be ok...i think the rear diff is 4.11 and the S4 tranny should be 4.11. I have a B4 sedan, so my rear diff and tranny are 3.89 final drive. If I were to pull the trigger on a B5 S4 tranny, I'd also need a rear diff from a B3.
I'm building a lightweight road racer, so I might not get the 6-gang...I may use a 5-gang 01E tranny. It's 40 pounds lighter and less internal rotational mass, so less horsepower loss thru the drivertrain due to parasitic loss. Catch my drift?
