I think the later cabs had the 8A2 prefix on the P/N i could be wrong though. 893 612 107A is whats currently on my 1990 car. Cheers Alex, Ive got that one above in my watch list but I'd rather not spend £90 though... i was hoping more in the region of £20-£30 I may go down to the audi breakers and see what i can pic up...

I am sure all of the 2.0L cars had vac assist, so there is a high chance that most late model cars will have what you need

AFAIK new price is about £250 because its the 9" RHD part. The LHD cars can fit a 10" as fitted to the 100/A6 and that part is cheaper, but wont fit in the RHD b3/b4 chassis.
A seller on ebay sells a new 9" non OEM servo for £155.
