Looking for a good secondhand heater control red display panel for a urS6.
Mine is fine, but it bleeds and has drop outs in the display screens.
Thanks for any assistance.
I refurbed mine with a kit from the states was about £100 including import duty but has new LCD screen and bulbs etc with instructions to refurb, even I did it which says something...
Worth checking for dry solder joints on the ribbon cable socket where it mounts to the board. Very common problem may be contributing to your symptoms. Fairly easy fix I didn't even add any new solder just reheated each joint and worked fine ever since. Think this issue more likely to produce bad button syndrome than bad screens though IME.

Yes this fixes the buttons not responding properly, the LCD replacement guide shows you how to do this as well
You can use any C4 or B4 unit as a display donor (especially faulty ones, you should be able to get them cheaper). And don't worry about color - it's just a piece of plastic behind display that makes display illuminate in red or orange and can be swapped easily.
