Having done this conversion, chuck me a PM if you have any questions, Ryan.

If you're on stock internals and clutch, then RS2 is a good place to start. You might want to consider an RS2 hybrid turbo from Iroz Motorsport but the rest is all bolt on.

You've forgotten to add a 3" turbo back exhaust and sports cat.

Don't forget to factor in a new head gasket, in case you have the paper item and a cambelt and water pump change too, to make sure that the lower pulley and cooling are all sorted.

Silicon boost hoses are a good idea and to finish things off, you'll want to tweak the breather system to look after it all.

Thanks Andy, I really appreciate your advice, I've just had a look at the IMS RS2 Billet and looks like just the thing which would sort out one of my main concerns i.e. the bad spool up! So I think that may be my turbo option as long as it is all bolt-on

I believe my headgasket is not the paper type as it is a very late ABY spec model. Is a cambelt and water pump change necessary when going RS2 spec? If it is I have to make sure to factor in extra parts and work

Boost pipes are one of the things on my to-do list as well! What is normally done to the breather system, is it just a catch tank? Thanks mate

If you for any reason need to take off the head, I would suggest you get JNL to revamp / port the existing head, or source a 7a head and give it to him.

Don't let yourself feel constrained, use couriers, once the money is forgotten you'll be we'll pleased.

It's just as well I'm not based in the UK 'mainland', as I'd have even more S cars / parts.

It is a little overwhelming but I would consider bringing down a head made by JNL in future if I'm in the UK to bring down a car or something

Anyone here going to offer me a non-immo RS2 ECU?

Why do you want a RS2 ECU? I believe it's no problem for Dmitri to turn yours into RS2 spec.

True but I have nowhere to park the car after I've done it at the garage to send my ECU to dmitri while it's there

I see what your saying but you only need a second ABY/AAN ECU to send to Dmitri as opposed to an RS2 unit which is twice the price. You need to get the ECU socketed anyway to be able to use his generic chips so I'd ask him to do the job.
