    Headlining for Coupe, beige/grey.

Headlining and sunroof lining wanted for 1991 coupe, it is the lighter of the two colours, beige/grey and not the platinum version.

Part number of roof lining is : 895867505G 5XH

Part number of sun roof lining is : 895877255 6VZ

Part numbers seem to match later S2/coupe models so all you who have swapped to the darker interiors must have something kicking about

I'm in Somerset if it needs collecting due to size.

    cheers,

    Pete.

Pete, i would save yourself the hassle of dropping it down again and just recover what you have mate. I bought a couple of alleged perfect ones and on both the foam was disintergrated and they were close to sagging.
Recovering is relatively easy however I would use 3M glue that is heat resistant so it does not become unglued when it gets hot.

Cheers for the advice, I had considered it, but was worried about where to get fabric which is a good match, I recovered a headlining for a Range Rover before, with stuff from Woolies Trim, and that was really good, but was a plain fabric, backed with sponge, the Audi stuff has quite a texture to it.

I'll have a look around and see what there is about, thanks!
