Hi chaps to finish off the OEM+ look on the inside of my S2. I would now like an Audi Gamma CD head unit.

I have been following on eBay and German eBay etc. but have not seen the correct model yet.

It was very hard to find gamma cd
Especially Gamma cd III model in good condition

as i know there are only 2 typs of gamma cd radios for our cars ....

This one is tape deck only and will not control a multi changer.

You can tell the difference by;
1. It says Bose on the front.
2. It has the word 'Mode' on the bottom right button

Surely rare as hens teeth. Would also like something like this but finding one in good working order that someone is willing to sell is probably another matter

In my opinion this last CD gamma is the best and most diffucult to get
But pay attention illumination have to be changed from amber to audi s2/rs2 red

I have found a company advertising on German eBay that can fix any fault with these units except the laser reader head.

As for finding one, all good things come to those that wait

I guess this is a case of changing the colour of the backlight?

Is it a bulb, LED or something else?

I have not done it yet, i was told led or bulb, but this is possible illumination make as i should be
