    front struts.

My bros 2wd 16v is having a few suspension problems at present. The lowering springs i fitted a year ago have sagged and the car is currently crashing into even the slightest bump. Its awful to drive.
The near side shock is leaking now as a result.
Andyp has kindly come up with some new springs. Im looking for the cheapest and quickest way to replace the shocks. At least ill need inserts screw caps and bump stops.
Does anyone have any good condition front struts they want to sell.
I recently got rid of some s2 struts which i believe would fit. Sods law.
Anyone out there want to clear some space?

S2 struts wouldn't fit as they are too thick.

My understanding is that the only diffetence is diameter of the strut and insert. So if i replace the complete strut it will be fine

Yep, that's correct. Early 3B's had the thinner 50 mm struts with 12 mm strut/wheel baring housing fixings as opposed to the 14 mm bolts found across the range of B4 spec cars.

They are for a late coupe. So at the very most ill have to open the holes out by 2mm so no great shakes.

I believe all Coupe/80's after 1992 should have the 14 mm strut bolts, but as you say if the if the worst comes to the worst the bolt holes can be opened out.
