Wanted some Type89 B3 Grille bits

Hi Chaps,

After a few bits that seem to be missing from my Type89 B3 coupe, which I hope some of you have kicking about from all those B4 conversions you lot have been doing

I'm after the parts numbered:

19 (2 of) Seal retainers, for the seal that runs under the headlamps (I have 2 new genuine seals from ebay!)
18A (1 of) Seal that runs along bottom of grille
27 (1 of) Towing eye grille
20 (2 of) Plastic buttons which hold seal in place



Also after a drivers side door pull in blue, the one that houses the electric window/mirrors switches - I don't need the switches, just the door pull, as mine seems to have shrunk!

Good luck with towing eye cover, I tried for ages to get one and eventually got one from audi tradition ,there rarer than rocking horse s***

I got told recently they were still available from Audi, but at £40-60 a pop I thought I would try second hand!

I used to have a CQ Typ89 and the damned towing eye cover grille was always going awol. Irony was that it never needed towing. One of the best cars I ever had. One of those sales that you always regret.

Yeh mine was about 40 quid , I was well wounded.

I only lost one, but it was due to hitting a hare at 80mph.... Never got round to replacing it!

Other bits have been missing since I owned it, due to an apparently shoddy repair....

I remember using super glue to stick my Audi Rings back on my Type 89 after ripping them off when entering a ditch forwards. Diff Lock got me out no problems but I was gutted (about the damage and my driving ability)

I have the door pull,its packed away somewhere.Its from a low mileage B3 1991 saloon.What colour blue are you after as there is a anthracite dark blue one as well as my lighter one.Will PM you tomorrow when i have found it.

It's a sort of mid-blue, sorry not very descriptive, I would say more navy than aquamarine though. The paintwork is a very, very dark blue metallic, quite rare colour apparently, only used for a year or two.
