So 38 on an N plate in total then. Make it 37 now, i went and had at look at the ruby red S2 in Shropshire today. Excellent mechanical condition but too much paintwork for me. I am prepared to wait for the right car. Someone will give in soon!

For most people I would imagine they would at first glance be impressed by how clean and tidy the bodywork is for a 19 year old car. I myself am quite fussy about paintwork and when I started to look closer, the majority of the panels had been resprayed, both sides and including the roof which was just poorly blown in on the windscreen edge. Also overspray on side window seals. I'm not trying put the car down, it just was not for me and people are entitled to there own opinion.Comment

Still looking for S2 N reg coupe
Another wasted weekend. Drove a 500 mile round trip to look at this.
Described as in superb condition!
Anyway I am still hunting for a clean N reg S2 coupe. Don't mind miles or colour. Must have straight and clean panels/bodywork.
Cash waiting, maybe upto £6000 ish for the right car.
