Sorry, I don't have anything to offer but I remember someone on here showed that you can use clips that holds C4 fusebox cover at the side of dashboard. They should still be available new

Available on audi tradition but very expensive at abour 8 euro or more per clip..there are two types of clips if I recall. Postage is very expensive as well so only worth it if getting other parts at the same time

Forget the Audi Tradition re manufactured ones, they are steaming a pile of ****, very thin compared to the original ones and very bendy = they don't hold the frame or mesh in securely at all.

Also after some... Rusty, surely you can get some of these made for a more reasonable price?

7 IIRC. The trouble is the cost of tooling for a pressed and folded sheet metal item like this is huge. A billet item would probably be cheaper to produce for small quantities.

I believe there have been billet options for sale on here? And not that cheap either?

Are they plastic or metal? Should be easy to 3D print these for pennies if we can come up with a design file

That's the one indeed. Compared to the price for second hand original ones they are not that expensive actually.
